GOOD: Being available to help those in need when they call for an ambulance.
BAD: People using the system incorrectly, causing stress on the system when they are not really experiencing an emergency, and they know it.
GOOD: Seeing someone improve over the course of a 15 minute ride to the ER
BAD: Misrepresenting symptoms in order to get “faster treatment”
GOOD: Hearing that a patients outcome was positive, and they were treated well during their stay
BAD: Frequent callers who call all the time for nothing and we can’t stop them from misusing 911
GOOD: As a newbie, knowing I followed protocol to the T and was a good advocate for the patient
BAD: Meth
GOOD: My partner having my back
BAD: Leadership politics
GOOD: Blasting the horn and sirens at people and (safely) making speedy progress
